Answers to the questions we hear most from owners and renters.

How do I list my vehicle?

Create a free account, add your vehicle with photos and pricing, and you’ll get a booking link to share wherever you already post — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Marketplace.

How does renter ID verification work?

Before a renter can confirm a booking, they upload a valid ID and driver’s license. RentoWheels checks these against the vehicle’s required license class before the booking is allowed to proceed.

Is my security deposit safe?

The deposit is held through RentoWheels rather than handed over in cash. It’s released back to the renter after the trip, minus any deductions the owner records for damage or excess mileage.

What happens if a booking is cancelled?

The security deposit is always refunded in full on any cancellation. Whether the reservation fee is refunded depends on who cancels and how close it is to pickup — an owner cancellation always refunds it in full; a renter cancellation close to pickup may not.

What if there’s a dispute — like a no-show?

Either the renter or the owner can report an issue on a booking. An admin reviews it and resolves it one way or the other; if the claim is upheld before the trip starts, the booking is cancelled and refunded according to who was at fault.

How and when do owners get paid?

Payouts are released after a trip completes, with the platform fee and any deposit deductions already itemized. Pro-tier owners get a lower per-booking fee.
