Terms of Service

This is a general starter template for a vehicle-booking marketplace, not a document reviewed by a lawyer. Replace it with your own reviewed terms before relying on it in a real dispute.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using RentoWheels to list, browse, or book a vehicle, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Description of service

RentoWheels is a booking platform that connects independent vehicle owners with renters in the Philippines. RentoWheels facilitates listings, identity verification, payments, and dispute handling, but is not a party to the rental itself — the rental agreement is between the owner and the renter.

3. Accounts and verification

Renters must complete identity verification (a valid government ID and driver's license) before confirming a booking. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including vehicle condition, pricing, and availability. Providing false information may result in account suspension.

4. Bookings and payments

A booking is confirmed once payment of the reservation fee (and, where applicable, the security deposit) is completed. Any remaining balance is due according to the terms shown at the time of booking. Security deposits are held by RentoWheels and released after the trip, subject to any deductions the owner records for damage, excess mileage, or late return.

5. Cancellations and refunds

An owner cancelling a confirmed booking always refunds the renter in full. A renter cancelling is refunded according to the cancellation window shown at booking — cancelling close to pickup may forfeit the reservation fee. The security deposit is always refunded in full on any cancellation, regardless of who cancels.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use RentoWheels to circumvent identity verification, misrepresent a vehicle's condition, submit false disputes, or use a vehicle for an unlawful purpose. Violations may result in account suspension or removal.

7. Disputes

Either party may report an issue with a booking. RentoWheels reviews reported issues and may cancel a booking and adjust refunds accordingly if a claim is upheld. RentoWheels' decision on a reported dispute is final for the purposes of the booking, but does not limit either party's other legal rights.

8. Limitation of liability

RentoWheels provides the booking platform "as is" and is not liable for the condition of any vehicle, the conduct of any owner or renter, or any loss arising from a rental arrangement made through the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of RentoWheels after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
